Sunday Musings: Football is Back, baby
I know the season started on Wednesday, but let's face it...football officially starts on Sunday. It only feels like the season has started when you're sitting on your couch, watching 4 games on multiview or cursing out your favorite team.
For those who don't know, I'm a Steelers fan. I've been for 10 years now, since the St. Louis Rams moved back to Los Angeles. Dropped that team like a toxic ex and never looked back.
It doesn't mean it's been sunshine and rainbows as a Steelers fan, though. We've had drama with Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell, a QB who stayed too long and pushed back development in that position for a while, because now we have Aaron Rodgers (underwhelmed yippee).
But the season has started and I couldn't be happier. I'm really looking forward to Rodgers showing me he can do more than run his mouth about his exes. Week 1 was a win and we have TJ Watt to thank for that. Plus, a little shoutout to my new favorite player: Darnell Washington. He is a bad, bad man. lol
