Full confession straight up in today's Quick Hits: Wicked For Good... I'm not a musical fan. That being said, I did enjoy Wicked Part I for what it was.
It helps that, even if you haven't seen the Broadway play, you might have been familiar with one or two songs from the play/movie.

If you didn't see it at all, hated it, or had zero awareness that this play even existed... this movie isn't for you...
What made the first one enjoyable, outside the acting, costumes, and set design, was the fact that it ends on a super high note with a dynamic, grab you by the butt type of song.
Wicked For Good? Not so much. Nothing locks you in or keeps your eyes glued to the screen, building that anticipation. The songs are lackluster, the story is just ok, even as it links us to the classic Wizard of Oz story most of us grew up with.

Ariana and Cynthia are fine in their roles. It features too little of Jonathan Bailey, in my opinion. The costuming, makeup, and set design are fine. But trust me, this is not a stimulating movie. For the first hour, I had to keep shifting around to keep myself awake. No bueno.

Now, if you are a MASSIVE fan of the Broadway play, you can ignore everything I just said. Go. Enjoy yourself. I sat next to a bunch of people who were audibly sobbing at the end of the movie, so they felt something that I didn't. But also be okay with it being just okay. 2.5/5
